Update GNS750 v2.4.11 error with trainer

Recommended Posts

Hi, I installed GNS750  v2.4.11 update today and when I start P3dv4.1 I get an error "Garmin Trainer cannot start".

This is the error log rxpGtnsim.dll.log

I uninstalled both trainer and RXP and started from scratch but only to end up with the same results.

Any help would be appreciated.... Thanks, Brian

Hi Brian,

Thank you for the additional details in the 2nd post, these are helpful. I'm sorry for the time for answer but this kind of issue is generally low-level system related.

Can you please confirm you are running Win7 Professional?

Can you also cross check you have recent, if not latest, video drivers?

What is your CPU type?

Are you running P3D4.1 as admin? if so, can you please just run it as normal user?

Can you cross check your antivirus program for any 'rxp' file quarantined/locked?

Brian. Just FYI. Believe you left two questions unanswered.

Hi, Sorry...

Running in normal mode and no anti virus installed at all as this computer never connects to the internet.

Thanks,

Hi Jean-Luc, I installed v2.4.12 also the latest graphics card drivers, uninstalled all software not related to P3d.

I also removed RXP and Trainer software and installed from scratch, still no go I'm afraid.

Hi Brian and thank you for coming back.

What do the log files say now with v2.4.12?
