Strange view?

Hi Guys,

 

after installing PTA 2.6, I downloaded some REX setups, and this is what I am getting on 31000 ft. Same view from cockpit. On the ground everything seems to be normal of course.

Any advice? Thanks

P.S. It appears that I am getting nice haze effect, one that I have set, but at a horizon totally something else....Like a separate layer.

It looks like contrails that miss their textures...

Regarding the haze effect . You have your visibility set at a futher distance than your clouds. Therefore you see the ground behind the clouds. 

Myself I use ASP4 with clouds set to 115 and visibility to 125. Beside that I have set haze and raleigh scattering 

Try my preset and see If that helps. You can take that as a base and see the entries.

Thanks Gerard....I used your setting for month of Dec. It appears that your settings are much more complex that the rest I've seen. Increased cloud distance to 120 and clouds are above. Although I am at night now, but they appear much better.

See If Unchecking turn off HDR in the HDR&Post-Processing section makes it look like you want it.

No, actually doesn't....just wondering if some additional set-up needs to performed in actual sim...? What I have accomplished, hope that's good, doing your tweaks, that finally my GPU usage goes above my CPU usage, which was not the case so far....obviously with that temp slightly higher.....74 C....MSI 1070.

If you try with the default clouds and sky sets , how does it look then ?

Sorry, I was engaged on the other thread with same issue someone else had. Actually I was able to fix that issue. It appears that I was doing some changes during the flight. Using all presets etc. I cleaned the shaders, defaulted ASP4 and applied yours and Adam's setting and all looks good now. I guess REX settings I downloaded were showing those brown horizon and ghost white night time lights.
