The device you never knew you needed - Infinitton ?

Recommended Posts

Hi Folks,

Came across this at Newegg (hot key/macro keypad) - seems like it could be immensely useful as it supports switching profiles on the fly - each profile has it's own defined set of custom images (LED 72x72 pixels) in the key selected from their lib or any source you want... Plugging in autopilot buttons or aircraft specific commands - wow... Anyone have a flight sim PIREP - generic reviews seem positive...

I have a Logitech G13, which gives you more keys, for less money.  The downside of the G13 is that the buttons are just conventional buttons, they don't have the ability to display a bitmap.

I've been in the process of slowly developing a custom FS interface for the G13, to support FS commands directly, rather than through mapped keystrokes.  I might look at doing the same with this beast, as the ability to display an image on the button does look intriguing.

Hi Doug,

Yep - I have a Logitech G11 keyboard with 15 programmable keys - which I can never seem to remember how I programmed them when needed (used for a couple different sims)... The beauty of this does seem to be the LED lit keys with your own images - so you can remember how they are programmed when needed... Whether that's worth $150 ($130 on sale at Newegg) - LOL - has yet to be determined...

Regards,
Scott

I  bought a usb keypad and labeled the keys with a label maker to perform GPS functions. Cost  $11 . Those look nice but to rich for my blood. Josh
