At busy airports AI just ignores ATC and goes leaving no chance for a landing?

I was wondering if there was some way of dealing with this rather than just turning off the AI or making crashes not happen when you run into other aircraft?

I have had AI incur on my approach and been told to go around.

They complied with that.

What they "ignore" or misinterpret, I am not certain.
