if they started working on the max right after the release of the 747-8, then by the time pmdg would release the max, they would be all over the place in real life.

A small request - please do not forget about the JS4100.

One of my favorite planes to fly in FSX - but since my move to P3D - I really miss it.

They haven’t! In fact, it’s coming to P3D v4 and is in beta, in case you weren’t already aware.

...and we still have more news for later.

Both intriguing and cruel in equal measure, that was.

I'm assuming this is the 'stuff that we wouldn't have imagined' news.

And "unexpected". Cause The 737 MAX is far from unimagined and unexpected when it comes to PMDG.

Ah, Southwest, one of the biggest reasons that the 737 is still alive and hasn’t been replaced yet:laugh:

Them and Ryanair.

KLM counts on the 737 too... and several others. It‘s still a very solid and economic airplane despite its age. And with the MAX there is no reason to replace it too soon.. Airbus is not god given though its FBW and auto flight system. There are pros and cons for both 737 and „A320 and similars“ and there are airlines that prefer one more... so it‘s still on the market.
