Retro Atlas

Recommended Posts

Took Brian's wonderful rendition of this mighty bird on a freight run.....

Starting the walkaround.  I love how Brian replaced the one gray reverser panel with a white one...like you commonly see these days...adds so much to the realism

The tail looks good (love the APU dirt smudged on there!)

One final look down the fuse before I hop in and button her up.

Good looking bird!  I really like the retro Atlas logo...I like the new one too, but this one is also appealing.

After departure from KLAX...cruising over the southern California mountains...I thought this shot looked nice with the atmospheric conditions in the mountain range.

Had to take a shot of the other side of her...hehe.

On short final, the icon IKEA building... a great landmark, hehe.

Crabbing into the crosswind...slightly off center but kept all the wheels out of the snow bank, LOL

I'll bet none of you can guess who we''re flying for today. :)  (That 3d FedEx sign looks great.  FlightBeam has some of the best looking textures of any scenery dev!  LIghted beautifully at night too)

She looks out of place on the ramp, but she's the best looking of them all. :)

Thanks for the great paint Brian!  Plan to do some FedEx 747 Panda flights with your other paint sometime in the near future.  Maybe when PANC releases?
