Purchessed yesterday, looking forward to leaning and using it but!

I have tried several times to install, keep getting same message.

"Failed to cache Trainer Databases. Check your internet connectivity and disk space."

Got it going! For what ever reason it wanted to be installed on C which I wanted it on another drive. Oh well it's working now.

Hello,

I've yet to install my GTN 750 'Touch' purchase - due to a download failed statement 'File not found' (404)! The file in question was named: rxpGTN-FSIM-Setup.exe which I believe is the one that allows for the 'Add-Ons Menu' and the rest of the installation process'???? I hope I've provided sufficient information for troubleshooting my issue.

@ricere the file you are referring to is the RXP GTN software installer which is extracted once authenticated through the e-commerce installer. You might want to review your anti-virus which might have quarantined this file. Normal extracted location is: "C:\RealityXP"

Thanks for your response!

I have that folder on my 'C:' drive that you stated and it has two files within it. One is the license and the other is the file - 'rxpGTN-FSIM-Setup.exe'  Is this one I should be executing for the install???? If so, I had no idea! I was trying to execute the one that was part of the my 'Downloads' 'Programs' folder as it was there as well?!?!?!

I'll try the one within the RealityXP- folder and see how it goes from there!!  Appreciate your help!

The process is easy to understand:

You download an e-commerce installer, you run it, enter the credentials (first purchase or reinstall), it validates these online then extract/unwraps the product software installer into C:\RealityXP and offers to run it automatically for you.

The RXP software installer (extracted/unwrapped) is the normal software installer, the one which actually copies add-ons/gauges/plugins/documentation to your drive/simulators.

RXP,

I'm able to piece that together, but it not coming through as I anticipated. When I purchased the software it was not an immediate install as I was getting my act together to move up to Windows 10 (HP) as I had the time and materials to make it happen. That said, I'm back to my clock to do things when I ready to do them. I don't feel the 'key' I've used is the correct one 'date' wise. My plan is to delete the entire install and start again from scratch with the original download. What I've yet to see is the ability to use the Add-On manager to set up my install. There's just something I'm not doing correctly?

Just to be sure, if you have your RXP-GTN750-FS.lic in C:\RealityXP do not delete or move this file.
Use rxpGTN-FSIM-Setup.exe to install the necessary files as Jean-Luc mentioned. Let the installer install the files to the default locations. Don't move any files afterwards.

Also make sure you have downloaded and installed the latest Garmin trainer. The latest compatible trainer installer link is:
http://download.garmin.com/software/GarminTrainerSetup_2100.exe

Actually, since our GTN and GNS V2, you can now move them to "Documents\Reality XP", but it still requires you authenticate with the e-commerce installer on your system prior moving them on the SAME computer.

Hello,

I'm back again to obtain my key's for my two products that I had purchased approx May of this year and would like to re-install them on my new desktop (Dell 'Alienware Aurora R7') is this possible? With that, am I able to obtain a thorough install checklist to integrate these same products (GTN 750/650 units) within a Carenado Cessna CT206H? Thanks once again!
