Fantastic shots HL!

I love flying in/out of Telluride.  Doing more GA flying now and recently took my little CJ2 in and out of there...great flying through the mountains.

Nice as usual.  If you want a really nice flight, take off out of Durango, CO and head North/Northeast, the Rockies are very beautiful in that direction, very European Alpine in appearance.  Durango is a beautiful small town, noted for its train ride into the Rockies.  Also, if you want a great train ride, take the train from Williams Arizona to the Grand Canyon or the roundtrip train ride out of Ely Nevada's train museum.  The flight from Ely due east towards the Great Basin National park is the epitome of Basin and Range flying, use a fast single or dual engine prop, like the Twinstar at 12,000 feet or so.  The highest I have ever driven in an automobile was into Great Basin national park, over 11,500 feet in altitude, higher than I've ever flown IRL in a GA aircraft.

Huge thank you for commenting....I see that Great Basin National Park....I normally fly straight into Bonneville but the southern route thtu the Park then north to Bonneville because I like the Lakefront Bluff area....thanks for the tip!
