Reference to ALL .ini file settings?

Recommended Posts

I'm struggling with getting things to work as I expect... I can certainly copy and paste from some posts in the configuration thread, but I'd like to know what each setting in the .ini file does.

For example, the Centurion II starts with two 430s open on-screen, but the ones mounted in the panel aren't connected. I'd like to find a description of each function to learn how to actually fix this instead of experimenting/guessing...

TIA Andrew

Hi Turner, all pertinent information about the RealityXP.GNS.ini and 'rendering targets' is in the User's Manual.

Otherwise, most per-device settings should-be self-explanatory and better changed using the GUI Settings Panel.

Hi Jean-Luc, thanks for the quick reply.

I only posted this after going through the manual but still can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. As noted, in the Centurion II, for example, I can't see the RXP units on the panel, and when I click the panel-mounted units, they only open/close the default 430s.

So, at least, I'm trying to figure out how to fix this.

Cheers

Andrew

Selecting a device in the plugin menu only opens a popup window. In order to also 'render' the device in place of the default GPS, please follow the B58 tutorial at the end of the user's manual.

You might want to also browse the official panel configuration discussion in this forum for user contributed ready-made settings.

I don't know much what to say, this is a standard X-Plane command, not a RXP shortcut. Ryan just did the same yesterday for integration with the Bell 407 and it was working too!?!?
