SayIt + WIndow Still Broken?

Recommended Posts

Thanks for the video.  When I check with 2403, It works at KTPA.

When you first connect, the radio may hang on the ATIS channel, which would show no phrases.  Be sure and wait until ATIS starts giving the weather before changing frequencies the first time.

I tried KTPA. Same thing.....blank. Tried IFR too. Same.

I'm not the only one seeing this. Someone else reported in another thread that it is blank for them also.

Anyway.....time to celebrate. We have a 20 lb prime rib for 10 people at 2 pm.

I'll check back later.( if I'm not sleeping after all the food) Hope you can find the problem.

Happy Holidays.

Yes, same problem unfortunately. It doesn't work at KTPA for me, or anywhere else I have tried. Waiting for ATIS made no difference, nor did IFR or VFR, or requesting VFR flight following.

Have a good holiday,

Anthony

Enjoy the feast!

I just did an experiment.

  1. Connected to SIM
  2. Swapped Frequencies to ClrDel from ATIS
  3. Pressed ?+ and it was blank
  4. Swapped Frequencies back to ATIS and waited to hear ATIS weather
  5. Swapped back to ClrDel and it was populated as it should be
  6. Then selected other frequencies from the Freq list and swapped them in.  All worked correctly.

So the only time I got the blank SayIt screen was when first connecting to the SIM.

Please email me your log files so I can see if they reveal anything useful.

Log files are located in:

C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\P2A_200\Logs

where <UserName> is your PC user name

A new one is created each time you start Pilot2ATC, so if you take the most recent one when you have the error, you should have the correct one.

The update r2 fixed the problem for me with the SayIt + window.

I do still have the logs from this morning when I was having the error if you want them.

Where would I email them?

Thanks and have a Merry Christmas!
