B777 Flights crashing during preflight

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone

I am having an issue the last month or so where the majority of my B777 flights are crashing to the desktop during the pre flight.

I used to be able do flights to and from my FSDT and Flightbeam sceneries in the USA no issues but now for some reason I cannot get one through the pre flight phase.

No problems with my PMDG B738 at the same airports.

No changes made recently and very frustrating.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Tim Carter

Hello Pete, I have posted here because it has become apparent it is not a FSDT issue.  it is crashing when no FSDT scenery is active.  Also happens when only flightbeam scenery is active.

This is a PMDG issue.

Would love some support from PMDG on this.

Tim Carter

which sim?

What does the event viewer say regarding the crashes?

if it's P3Dv4: are all your addons P3Dv4 native? especially the scenery addons might look ok but create crashes..

Did you try without FlightBeam?  There must be something specific in your env. that caused this.

If the FSDT Addon Manager is running then there are two modules loaded and running regardless of if the scenery is active.  Try running their Updater.

actually jim gave  you  support  in the  ctd   section in the post that  you  first posted  in,  its not  a pmdg  issue  otherwise  there  would  be  a ton of  posts.  Send in a support  ticket  in if  you want  support  from pmdg
