Fleet Traffic: US Navy by Haze Gray Studios

Recommended Posts

For those that didn't see this yet....

Meet the fleet.

This is a little project I worked on for a couple of years, to bring the (almost) the full US Navy to the sim in the form of AI surface traffic.

Over 250 ships/subs, 19 models, traffic worldwide...  and we plan to add more in 2018.

Wonderful add-on!  A military complement to the Global AI Ship traffic add-on. Thank you for sharing +1.

Any routes close to N. Korea just in case??:dry:

One small piece of constructive criticism. I don't know if this is a limitation of the sim(s) but at around 5:21 in the video you could see the entire shadow of the (landed? moored? embarked?) Seahawk on the water's surface. If this is an unfortunate limitation of the sim then please disregard.

Hello,

it is great to see some new add-on for military naval operations!

I got a few questions for Ripcord since I could not find infos on the product web page, which are quite important for me deciding wether getting this add-on or not :

- how many carriers are provided and are the carriers operative for airplanes : landing (arresting cables) and take off (catapult)? Images and videos only show helicopters operations.

- the description says 99 saved flights with aircrafts on deck are provided. For which aircrafts are these flights designed? I am mostly interested in the F4 from Milviz and Simworks studios, and F18 from VRS.

- were are the scheduled traffic located? Only at US coast?

- Is it fully compatible with Tacpack on P3DV4, can one assign TACAN frequencies to the carriers? A video on the youtube page shows how to do it using the RFN gauge, however this gauge is not available for P3DV4....

Thanks,

Vvince

Nothing on their website regarding this.
