Display chosen name of STAR and/or SID?

Featured Replies

Little NavMap is really a fantastic program! Thank you very much for it!

I really like the new feature to display SIDS and STARs procedures on the map as it really helps to determine which one to choose!

One thing I've run into, when I choose the correct SID or STAR within Little NavMap, I then want to add the same to my FMC or GTN...however, either one of them want to know the name of the SID or STAR. When I go back to Little NavMap to find out which one I chose, I don't see a way to find the one I chose without going through all of them again...

I'm probably missing it, but is there a way to display the name of the chosen SID or STAR on the map or flight plan?

You can add them (right click on procedure and "Use ...") to the flight plan and save them with the GFP flight plan format or X-Plane FMS.  GFP works for the Reality XP GTN at least - not sure about the Flight1 GTN. The turquoise lines are just a preview which turns into orange when the procedure is a part of the flight plan.

After adding them to the flight plan you can save it also as a FSX/P3D PLN which includes the procedure information so that LNM can reload them. FSX/P3D cannot read these - you still have to select them manually.

Manual explains this here.
