A New Base For My Airtaxi Company

Featured Replies

I'm flying an Aztec out from VC Bird airport on Antigua, as an air taxi. Lots of fun and keeping busy. I was looking for a place to call home, and found Caribbean Star's abandoned hanger (they went out of business some time ago, but the fully painted hanger sits in my VC Bird scenery - perhaps Taxi2Gate, I can't remember...).

Using Instant Scenery, I kitted out the hanger, added another plane or two ffrom the fleet and some bagged waiting to be loaded. Now it really feels like my air taxi hub :)

Yes, I have a soft spot for the Caribbean, especially when the weather is bad here in England. I have upgrades for every single airport there. But I do fly alot in Alaska and in Buffalo Airways territory during the winter, just to see what a real winter looks like! In England our climate has changed since I was a kid, we have very mild winters, and rarely any snow at all. Used to be different 40-50 years ago.
