Interesting statement from TFDI....

Recommended Posts

“We also have two other projects we’re getting ready to put into full-time development (which we have held off on to make sure the 717 was where it needed to be). One of these will come as a surprise, and one of them will come as exciting news to those waiting for it.”

Could this mean we’re finally getting an MD-11? And what could the other project be? Interesting stuff...

Whatever they release, it'll be in my hangar the next minute - that's how much I love TFDi, because of the B717!

As much as I like TFDI and the 717, I just look forward to them fixing the external view CTD and the blacked out pilots displays issues soon. Seems to be a popular issue on there forums.

Oh man I hope its the MD-11. Really miss my MD11 days in FSX.   For my health sake, I hope not else I will have a heart attack in disbelief.

Have to say that is one of the most humbling message from a dev I have ever read.  The whole opt in beta process and the 717 product was quite the experience and helped them to grow leaps and bounds in all kinds of areas. Wish them best of success into the new year.

An MD-11 from TFDi would be absolutely amazing!

Let's hope.

Hopefully they iron out the bugs on the 717 and give an official release of that to P3D v4. If they do that and make an MD11, I'll be buying both for sure.

The MD11 would make complete sense..  That will be a smash hit on day one.

Thanks for the heads-up.

Indeed. Besides the flightdeck resemblance, are the systems (in large part) the same from the Boeing 717 to the MD-11?
