Issue Transponder Ident

Recommended Posts

Greetings all,

I have reported it to VOXATC but wondering if anyone else experiences this and perhaps has a remedy.

I have P3D 4.1 and VoxATC 7.41

During a flight I'll be instructed to contact a center e.g. Seattle Center and be given a transponder codes.  I set my transponder and the 'I' and nothing happens.  After a short while I get the instruction again and hit 'I' again.  This repeats several times and I may or may not every get the "Radar Contact" acknowledgement.

You can see example error logs here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1axXMBl33XkMeVt-F4JfqZLr_u7DFTkt_

Thanks,

Kent

Did you ever find a solution to this problem? I get the same problem with every flight now. I keep identing the Squawk code "I" but the controller keeps bugging me like very minute "Reset transponder 3016". I there a way to track the problem down?

Mike

I believe the issue was duplicate key assignments.

I think I had the ‘I’ mapped to turning on the smoke system. Check your key assignments and make sure nothing else uses ‘I’

An alternative solution is to map your squawk signal somewhere else. I use a spare button on my throttle for this.
