MCE and Captain Sim B757 III P3DV4

Recommended Posts

Hello everybody,

is there any experience on wether MCE works "out of the box" with the new CaptainSim B757 III in P3DV4?

Thanks,
Dominik

Dominik.

We already support CS 757 in FSX.

Extending support to P3D V4 shouldn't be a problem.

If you like the aircraft, go for it.

Hi Gerald, some things must have changed because MCE no longer actions any commands other than radios frequencies and transponder codes with the new CS release.

Could you send "aircraft.cfg" for the new CS 757 V2 to support?

Thanks.

Thanks.

We now, have a full copy to work with.

A few things related to aircraft have changed and the "mccs757X.dll" in <MCE dlls> folder will need to be updated.

Shouldn't take long though.

And it WILL be fully supported, no doubt about that.

Hi. I've downloaded the new build of Multi Crew Experience (V2.7.4.7) but the copilot still seems unable to action the majority of commands. Is that still on its way or have I done something wrong?

Support for 757 V3 isn't ready yet.

A lot has changed since the FSX version.

Overhead panel switches as well as a few pedestal switches already under FO control.

Mainly struggling with dials.

Will post the dll for V3 as soon as you can perform full SOPs in coordination with FO. Even if it may take longer to get the dials going.

Definitely by the end of the coming week.

As promised, you can start putting Fo on duty with this aircraft as follows.

Download this patch and replace files as per included instructions.

The patch assumes you already have MCE V2.7.4.7 installed.

We haven't worked out the FCU and NAV dials yet. He can switch modes on request though.

A couple more weeks are required before everything is thoroughly tested and working.

Feedback welcome.

Gerald

I just trying out the CS757 II and I have a problem with the engine start switches. FO turns them allways to GND and this also when the command is AUTO or OFF.

Thanks

Bruno

Download this zip file

Unzip and replace dll in \Prepar3D V4\MCE dlls\ folder.

Should get start switches control working as expected. With these commands...

Start switches to auto

start switches of

start switches to continuous relight
