FSX/Acceleration To Prepar3D v4

At the moment I'm running FSX/Acceleration on a system with the following specs.

FSX/Acceleration (boxed)
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
Processor i7-6700 @ 3.00GHz
Installed Physical Memory 8.00GB
Graphics GTX 970 4GB

What Would be involved in changing over to Prepar3D v4?
And what is the best way to transfer all my ORBX and other additions?
Any help will be appreciated.

You can leave FSX installed and also install P3Dv4 keeping them both if you have enough room on your hard drives.

On the ORBX support forums I remember seeing a pinned link regarding installation instructions with copying your ORBX files from one sim to another, eliminating the need to redownload them. A good reason for keeping both sims installed, at least temporarily.

I still have both sims installed as I have planes I like in FSX that were never updated for use in P3D. Another reason for keeping multiple sim versions on you computer is you can install different scenery in each.

Thanks Ted, yes I have plenty of room on my hard drives. Never thought of doing it that way.
