Views randomly changing

hi, i have had the exact same issue for a while now and have never been able to solve it i do not have cinematic running either, also checked all my view settings in sim, and nothing there suggests any kind of conflict. when in cruise with any aircraft it just keeps randomly alternating between vc and outside views without any input. i have also at times disabled experimental option but no joy, the only other explanation i can think of may be that the original settings for cinematic mode may have  been turned on, and stored in the cloud which as far as i am aware i cannot access. therefore should i reinstall chaseplane the same settings will just return, i would be grateful for any help on this

regards, graeme crawford

You can change your Cinematic Mode settings in the Preferences. Hot Corners, Control Assignments, Cinematic Mode and UI interactions are the only ways to change the view in ChasePlane. Anything else is related to something else...

Have you made sure you don't have Hot Corners active in the Aircraft section?

I do not have hot corners or cinematic mode on.

Then generate a Report file from the Preferences after observing the issue and send the file to us via email

I seemed to have solved the issue by reverting to the last stable build then updating to the latest version.  All is good now.  Thanks for the help.  CP is awesome, BTW, forgot to mention that. 🙂

Hate to have revive this topic, but I'm still having the same issues with random view changes.  It appears this only happens when CP is open.  I have generated a report file but have no friggin clue as to ow to attach it here, so here it is.  Note:  As I'm typing Chrome like to keep opening an incognito browser window, so I suspect I have some other issue going on.  This is really frustrating.  I'm sure this is probably not your issue, but if you or anyone else has seen this issue before, I'd love some feedback.

I'm certain I have no conflicting key assignments in the sim or FSUIPC.  This really seems like an outside issue.  Search has returned nearly zero results on this.

Many thanks.

Do not post report files online.

Have you gone through what has been mentionned in this thread?

Generate a Report file after observing the issue and send it over to us. Are they camera angles you created or random ones?

Will do.  I don't think I created any special camera angles.  Just adjusted existing ones avail through the community downloads.

I mean... the random views you are getting, are they ones from your collection or random views around the aircraft?

The view jumps around from ones in my collection and/or sometimes it zooms way out from the top of the inside (roof) of the aircraft.

Can you make and post a short video of the issue? This seems a bit strange...

I have plenty of stream archives.  Let me find one.

I really feel bad for making you  have to go through this, but I appreciate it very much.

The times to skip to are as follows:

00:05:21 - random assigned view switch

00:22:53 - random assigned view switch

00:23:59 - roof switch (not mine)

00:24:20 - you can hear auto throttle disco

00:25:06 = roof view again (not mine) \

Thanks again for having a look.
