adding number plates throught ai_liveries.txt

Hi Nico, I ask to you if there's the possibility to add the new number plates of  aircrafts of each company throught the AI_liveries.txt.

I explain you better:

Happened to update the Atlas air and noticed 2 new number plates appeared for the B767.

I had difficult to find what are the new numbers because I have 3 different texture (and obviously 3 fltsim in the cfg) for the b767 GE and 2 different texture for the b767geW.

So I had to go in the Ai_liveries to sign each number plate and discover what's new.

So If I can avoid to look at the cfg, and taking a look directly at the ai_liveries.cfg and adding it the new ones should be better, faster and easier.

What do you think? Is it possible?

Hi,

No manually editing AI_Liveries.txt is a  bad idea. Never touch that file! AI_Liveries.txt is a computer generated intemediate file to be used by PSXseeconTraffic (not by humans).

Just make your Registration code changes (airplanes do not have numberplates but registration codes) in the aircraft.cfg file and then run VMRGenerator again. You can easily find what are the actual codes. For instance with http://www.ai-repaints.com/db/search.php?q=Atlas

you will find:N661GT,N641GT,N640GT,N1439A,N1511A  for the B763
