what setting causes shimmering ?

I had cockpit shimmering issues awhile back that i solved by mip mapping  vc textures.Now the shimmering is back even if i mip map the vc textures. The only way for me to get rid of shimmers is to restore the original p3d shaders. 

any of you pta gurus by any chance know which pta settings causes glareshield shimmering ?

 

I'm using the urp preset (I'm getting shimmers with all of them presets).I'm running  p3d 3.4.PTA version 2.11
