January 20, 20188 yr 100% Xplane user purchased and downloaded RC4toXplane yesterday also purchased the download file Radar Contact V4.3 which I can not RUN. Have tried for 24 hours now. I unzip the V4.3 it starts to download and then LOOKING FOR REGISTRY KEY FOR FS X NOT FOUND. What do I do from here? Would appreciate your help.

January 20, 20188 yr Author without the exe to download I cant even get to the box that shows the registration code to send to get a product key. that's the problem. I have my purchase order number confirmation but cant get it to RUN to get to the registration code.
January 20, 20188 yr Moderator Are you saying you cannot download the RC4 zip file from the site you purchased it from? Or have you downloaded it? if you have then you need to unzip the contents. Having unzipped it there will be a setup.exe to run. Please clarify the situation. There is no official support for XPlane but others can probably help with that. January 21, 20188 yr Author Have been working with helpdesk with RC4toXplane for over 24 hours without success. My New Windows 10 Dell computer will not allow the FSX.exe to be downloaded on my computer Xplane folder during the setup process. I receive no error message it just doesn't transfer of course making the App uselss. Theu even sent me a separate file with just the exe file but I cant do anything with it nor do I receive any warning or error messages. I NEED THAT FILE! HELP

I run SETUP.exe The Setup.exe asks where the XPLANE .exe is and then the setup.exe RUNS. THE SETUP.EXE DOES NOT TRANSFER THE FSX.EXE FILE TO XPLANE FOLDER. We have tried all types of ways on Windows 10 to get that file to transfer. And without that file RC4 can not work. I have looked at all types of ways to have the computer allow this file to be allowed to load.

One is Radar Contact ATC program itself which is available here:http://www.jdtllc.com/ Assuming you purchased it, download the package and install it. Radar Contact will want to know where FSX is installed. The RC4toXPlane plugin does create a dummy "fsx.exe" in \X-Plane\ installation folder. Simply direct the Radar Contact installer to X-Plane main folder. Otherwise, follow Ray's suggestion above regarding creating a dummy "fsx.exe" file inside \X-Plane\ main folder..
