I am curious to know. When does PP3d start logging? Is it the moment PP3d loads? or is it when the engine starts?  Also, when does the logging end?  At engine stop? or at simulator shut down.

Logging starts with engine start, unless you load with them running then of course on start of session.  Logbook entry arrives at time of engine shutdown, or when exiting the scenario or application if engines not shutdown.

I recommend Dan's logbook editor - it's very good.
