Is your memory two 4's or a single 8?

Is it stock memory?

What is your current hard drive?

That's just practice for when you have kids in college.

A current i5 or i7 and memory is going to be more than 300. Maybe a Ryzen cpu? but I have not read if it is good in flight simulator or not. You should save your money and look for specials and by summer have at least 500 to spend. Memory is currently very expensive these days.

If you memory is single channel and you move to dual, you get a bump.

If you hdd is old and slow, an SSD would give you a bump.

Flattening your system and and reinstalling would, for free,

would likely give you a bump.
