Have carenado citation but this one seem perhaps better when reading comments on the web...

Now in this serie, the part of screens above Salt Lake, are samples of the best you do. Thx for sharing James.

Love the route, there is such a change of scenery as one soars out of the California Coast, over the flat farmland of the Central Valley, over the alpine vistas of the Sierras, then over the Basin and Range scenery of Nevada, transitioning back into the stark alpine scenery of the Wasatch Range in Utah.  Whenever I flew to the east coast from San Francisco in real life, which I did quite often, I enjoyed the first third of the trip from the Pacific Coast to over Utah.

Many thanks for commenting....The breakup of the Colorado Plateau is what makes the western states so colorful and topographic!

Been there and on down to the north Rim of the Canyon.  Camped several days near Bryce.  The entire area is beyond belief IMHO.
