HUD not working on P3Dv4.1

Recommended Posts

Have no information when I go to use the HUD. Is there a place to turn it on and off. Need help. I'm using P3D4.1. I'd really like to use it but there's nothing there when I bring it down to use it. Thanks Stan

MOD EDIT: Changed the post title in order to have correct problem description

Stanford,

This behavior means that there is some kind of corruption on the dll.xml. Please open a ticket at support.precisionmanuals.com attaching the dll.xml which can be found under C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4 and will get you fixed.

The above folder is hidden so if you do not see it you need to enable the option to see Hidden folders and files in your windows.

You need to have this section in your dll.xml. If ity is missing, just add it

 <Launch.Addon>
    <Name>PMDG_HUD_interface</Name>
    <Disabled>False</Disabled>
    <Path>PMDG\DLLs\PMDG_HUD_interface.dll</Path>
    <DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName>
    <DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName>
  </Launch.Addon>

Peter,

The P3Dv4 location is different from P3Dv3 and FSX
