Navigraph Data in GTN750

Ok, thanks, clear.

The only entity that could provide databases compatible with the RXP units would be Garmin. They already do that indirectly, because whenever they release an updated version of the Trainer, it will usually have a newer database version than the previous version had. But it is never a current database. It will always be at least a few months old when a new Trainer comes out.

I did initially did not think so, that is why I reacted as I did. I am not stupid.

Buut from a later post by him it is now fully clear.

I also didn't understand this issue for a long time, but I read a bit about how to update the Navaid database in the Garmin GTN Trainer and realized that the trainer and the RL GTN 750 unit share the same data format. RL Pilots pay a lot for their GTN 750 navigation database subscription so I'm sure that they would be happy to pay a lot less by using the Trainer's version.

The solution unfortunately, is to not use the GTN Trainer as the basis for a flightsim gauge. That's what happened in MSFS.

And you like what is offered in MSFS compared to the GTN in FSX/P3D/XP?  Please go into a two-minute hold and rethink that. Then check out the published approaches to KUPM on Skyvector and compare to what are offered at that airport in MSFS.  Just an example.  When you have checked that out at Skyvector, do a MSFS 180° back here and advise what you found.

I'm sorry to say but this, but what happens with MSFS and the reason you can't fly the RXP GTN since August 2020 is very simple:

Who can we email to when no one is answering yet?

  • I’ve sent email to the address you’re referring to
  • I’ve sent emails to the Microsoft representative I’ve signed an NDA with back in December 2019
  • I’ve leaved him voice messages as well
  • I’ve filled the market place application which is in review for so many months.

Let me clarify that Reality XP is not just a bunch of Garmin gauges.

So please, can you tell who should I contact to get things going?

Up until today, Microsoft/Asobo didn’t make any effort to communicate with Reality XP (see above). We’ve had novel products to offer for the new simulator, some never seen before in any simulator, and they didn’t even took the chance to talk with us to know what this is about.

No the RXP gauge is vastly superior to the one available in beta for MSFS.  That's because of the SDK being so limited. But it uses the Navigraph database, so I'm not sure what your point is. Are you saying that Navigraph has problems with their database or that you have a problem with that one airport?

If I had had this information I wouldn't have bought the GTN750 plugin from XP Reality !!!
This is a deception !
Commercial politic from Garmin is in an other Century
It's impossible using charts from Navigraph in the real life !!!
What's so hard to understand ?
All the financial logics generate problems....
Latest news about Boeing which is no longer an engineering company, but has become financial company : it is the real reason I am afraid to flighting in 737MAX... no more !
And the next time i have to choose a GPS, it will be not a  GARMIN, and so during all my life
The real boss in all companies is the client
