Garmin GTN v6.41.1 Infos (unable to install - 404)

Today I needed to reinstall my gps units and found out the installers no longer work

the error is 

GarminTrainerSetup_2000.exe file not found

Here I am gain with a black screen on the GTN 750.  I thought that the provblem was resolved but it has returned after the last update.  Herewith the log:

Cant find the GarminTrainerSetup_2000 file. Get this everytime. Shut down all antivirus stuff. and defender.

Garmin has just released a new GTN Trainer v6.41.1 this afternoon, we are currently working on the update.

As the v6.41.0 link is no longer available, in the meantime, you can still download v6.21.0 in the meantime from here: http://download.garmin.com/software/GTN_GDU620PCTrainer_6211.zip

Hi, the log file tells:

1) At location: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Garmin\Trainers\GTN\bin"

2) The plugin is unable to find a supported trainer (v6.41, v6.21, v6.11).

You must install one of the aforementioned versions. Please note Garmin has just released v6.41.1 today and we are working on it.

I'm sorry but I fail to understand:

1) you've installed the trainer, ok.

2) the installer is GarminTrainerSetup_2000.exe

How could have you installed the trainer, since the installer is the file you don't have?

Please re-read this thread as I've merged all topics pertaining to the same issue, that is: Garmin has just released a new trainer today, and our installer can't find it, and our product is not compatible with either, and we are working on it right now, hopefully we'll have an update anytime soon.

I downloaded the trainer (the older one ) from the garmin site. Its the same as the link above. Its on my C drive where its supposed to be. The installer doesnt see it. Not sure how the stupid thing works. My Xplane is on a separate drive which shouldnt make any difference

I got it to install, My bad, forgot to uncheck the box to download the trainer.

Hello Im rewriting my post , it seems someone deleted the previous one without any message sent my way 

I need to know why Im getting and error 404 when reinstalling the gps

After multiple re-installs in unsuccessful attempts to overcome the "black screen" I have now received the same error on numerous occasions.  File not found (404) Garmin trainer setup_2000.exe.  I have raised a ticket with Flight1.com and I am awaiting a reply.  I can only hope that they are better at responding than RealityXP.

I too have had my last post concerning the black screen deleted.
