Screen black on GTN 750

Recovering from a massive Windows 10 update meltdown, I'm in the process of reinstalling...yeah...everything.

Anyway,

Installed the GTN and I'm getting just a black screen.  The trainer itself when run as a separate app looks fine.

The reason is obvious (thank goodness for a plain language log we can actually understand, LOL), not sure why it can't find the installer path when I verified twice that it's where it's looking for it.

It mentions an unknown version, whereas when I do the initial install, it comes back and says there is a new garmin trainer version and I don't recall it it let me not choose it...is that where the issue is?

Hope someone has had this issue and since resolved.

Hi Steve,

I had the black screen symptom - when I tried to use the Garmin Trainer used by the F1 to drive the RXP gauge - fixed it by running the install again and installing the Garmin Trainer that came with the RXP package... Your mileage may vary...

Yep - sometimes Windows Update can make you feel like this - sorry for your troubles...

I have been struggling with the "black screen" for over a week now.  Like you, my log file reads virtually the same, see the post, and everything is where it is supposed to be.  I tried to contact support at Reality XP but heard nothing back.  A bit of support would not go amiss.

GTN Trainer v6.41.1 has just been released a few days ago and we are working on it.
