What ..it doesn't have gears on its wings!  Like a tightrope walker for balance with those long wings.

It is. But with a really large wing like that you're technically still flying and have effective aileron control.

Just like a glider - keep flying the aeroplane until she stops! He nearly let a wing drop too far though! Possibly a nasty crosswind component? I could see bootfuls of rudder going in and out on the approach...
