Just getting back into FSX after an extended break - are these 'new' Aerosoft A3xx significantly better than the old X Xtended versions?

I'd hold fire as they're working on A320 Professional and I believe they mentioned a Q1/Q2 release

It's pretty much aimed at P3D though isn't it? 64bits coming first then 32bit somewhere down the line. If the upgrade pricing is correct, I'd just like to know if the A320/321 is actually a worthwhile improvement over the X Xtended as with the 20% it'll work out a bit cheaper going that route anyway.
