February 10, 20188 yr Author Hi... Ahh - it's not hard really - it takes some effort getting familiar - but once that's done - the imagery is pretty easy... The airport itself was done by the ORBX Freeware guys - I'm just slipping my sat imagery underneath... It's Wiscasset ME (KIWI) - a place I've visited frequently - also named as one of the worst crosswind runways in the country... On some approaches - I've spent more time looking out the side windows than the front - thankfully - once below the tree line it tends to settle out... Here's the start of a great tutorial series on how to do this stuff - skimmed through it for my review - P3D is a little different from FS9 so I had to learn a few new tricks - very helpful and well done video - LOL - even though his wallpaper seems a bit odd... I'm always willing to help where someone makes an honest attempt... Regards, Scott
February 11, 20188 yr I bought and found some serious issues, being the main one incompatibility with Orbx in regard to elevation, even after running the utility that should fix it. It also happened to be a rainy and low vis day, and I got to see some lighting aberrations in low vis conditions. Other than that the static aircraft bother me for the fact that cannot be removed (nor other objects if one would like to declutter). They offered some first basis solutions on Facebook, but I consider it less than standard, so I'm removing it until some more effective corrections come by. February 11, 20188 yr It's ok and a notch above freeware scenery. The static Fedex aircraft is hidious, the rest are ok. I bought it to fly some cargo in the DC-9-30F and I like the cargo area a lot. Seems a proper AFCAD is missing as you get no taxiway instructions from ATC, just the TO RW. What bothers me most though was the installer. Terrible activation routine and moronic placement of the files inside the main P3D folder. Simmerhead - Making the virtual skies unsafe since 1987!

My mesh resolution is 5m and tessellation is medium. I do have KMHT disabled in Global Vector. I have no elevation issues at all.
