Grey cloud problem (not getting support from pta for months)

Hi hi have a grey cloud problem i tried contacting support for a few times during 2 or 3 months and got nothing back...

i use p3d v4 with asca clouds using chewyy's Pta profile... i can upload it if needed.

i use ultimate realisem for the sky textuers.

here is a video showing my problem: 

the problem starts showing after 15 seconds.

Matt's been in hospital at some stage recently, so things may have got a little delayed.

I'm not sure whether I can help - but try my 26_02 preset to see if you also get the problem with that. Don't forget to set your HDR values to those recommended with 26_02.

I will. Thanks. But i really like chewwy's preset so i rather sticking with him and figuring what the problem is. But i will try your preset to confirm that pta is the problem.

Sure - I only suggested mine as a means to isolating the problem. Looking at your video again, I suspect it's a generic P3D thing. I often get weird shadowing when I rotate the view (some shadows turn on and off completely) - even when on the ground. I think that when you're moving your eyepoint like that, something similar is happening.

It seems that Chewy did not tweak the clouds in his preset. That is default cloud lighting.

Adam has improved clouds in his presets.

Last option in the Clouds section. (Even in your screen capture it shows :) )

Yes, you have to check that box .
