Sedona is a interesting airport for approachs, is for elevations and ambiance one of the best that Orbx do... 

Arizona with sands and red rocks is too, one of the best countries to fly.

Sedona is my fave airport, except for.... and ... and then there's always...   You get the idea.  Nice flight.

Nice set, I have flown a Light Sport Zenith Aircraft out of Stellar aircraft before, on the same day my oldest brother had heart surgery.  After my flight with a CFI, I drove over to Chandler's hospital to visit with my brother who was still in ICU.  He enjoyed my company, I shared the details of my flight with him.  For a challenge Stellar is a fun airport to fly out of in Chandler with its short runway.

I've flown into Sedona tons of times (VFR and IFR) in a few different types of planes.  Fun airport, good FBO, and a great restaurant.  Just ignore the books on Vortexes for sale.  One thing that I wish FS modeled was ground effect.  It's easy to float for days when landing there.  There have been a couple times flying in where my pride was hurt knowing that everyone in the restaurant and on the flight line saw me botch the landing! Remember to lean for max power during your run up before takeoff!  Especially during the summer!

Thanks a lot for commenting.....The high approach usually results in a speed problem....Navy landings on a carrier are 500ft above the deck....have to attend to mixture control especially at 9000ft Telluride!
