P3D wont start

Lets get to the point.

P3D will not start when i click the Prepar3d.exe.

It just loads the splash screen indefinitely.

Help?

Need system info. What have you tried to fix it? Did you install as administrator? Which version of P3D?

Using P3D v3.1,

I've deleted some addons and i worked, but when I close it and run it again, it doesn't start up again.

Yes I installed as admin.

Windows 10 Home Edition

GTX 960 Intel core i7-6700HQ 4 cores @2.6GHz

x64 bit based laptop.

**one thing to mention is that i haven't updated windows in a while. currently running 10.0.15063**

Have the same issue as well in P3Dv4.  Before every new start I have to change the scenery file (de-/activate airport). Maybe this will help you.

Here are some basic steps you can try if Prepar3D fails to launch

Nevermind. P3D does start but its REAL slow. I wait for 10 mins + and it does start.

NEXT DAY: wierd. When I updated Windows, it says it needs to get activated. I activated it, and again, it took so long to start.

Before, P3D would take a few minutes. I'm not too sure whats going on.

The amount of add-ons may have to do with it.
