Does 4.2  requires a full installation or just the client?

...well, the Release Notes  explains...

"The following list of updates has been categorized based on the installer required. The Client installer is required for Prepar3D v4.2, however the Content, Scenery, and SDK installers are optional. You must first have Prepar3D v4 installed to utilize the Client only installer. To install the Prepar3D v4.2 Client, you must first uninstall the previous Prepar3D v4.0/v4.1 Client through Programs and Features in Windows Control Panel."

Just installed version 4.2. Be carefull FSL a320 does not work. You got a message: Wrong Prepar3D4 version installed.

Jo,

Did you performed a full install or just the client?

Please  note that there are changes in the three components and therefore a full installation would be required for a total update.
