It's a minor version update.

...update.

Why wouldn't you? v5? Yeah, wait. v[samenumberascurrent].x? Unless someone doesn't know how to properly do version control (significant changes should mean a full version, not a minor version), there's rarely a reason to wait.

Plus one.  Other posts are showing some issues with 4.2.

Forever indebted to the late Michael Greenblatt of FSGS.

There's been another major developer that has come out and said not to update to 4.2 until they test and release a patch for their add-on.

Hence my post here.  Usually good to wait a little while anyways.  Let those who can't wait do the testing for us. ;-)

Yeah, and there's some merit to that. It's a bit frustrating when people just update before it's officially supported, but somehow expect it to work as if we said it would with certainty.

...all the same, there will be corner cases, and those corner cases will simply come from opening 'testing' up to the masses.

I have been "holding short" for a while. I only updated to v3.4 because the 777 seems to need it. I wonder if I can last until v5 is released?

Chris, sorry man but that is absurd.  The 777 works as intended in P3Dv4.x, I cannot think of a widespread problem reported by others.
