I have the PMDG 747v3 CTD issue.

Can you please check in P3D settings -> Information the Miscellaneous Text options? Do you have them enable? If yes can you disable them all and check if you are still get the crash?

I tried this instructions and I still have the CTD Issue.

I tried five times but I did not get good result. After the crash I back to the Miscellaneous Text options and I saw that the "Message Text" automatically enabled after the P3D v4.2 crash to desktop. I check this issue four time and again and again it enabled after the CTD.          Any help please

Hi, 

Try this:

Open P3D. in the Startup menu, click on options then Information then disable all options for Miscellaneous Text.

Load a default P3D aircraft - Make sure it fully loads and do a test flight. Then close P3D and make sure it doesn't crash.

If all success then open P3D again, load PMDG 747v3 and do test flight. This should work.

I tried but the issue is still repeat itself.

I checked it with the F22 default vehicle load a flight with "Message Text"  disable, all worked good. After that I restart the P3D v4.2 and I saw that the "Message Text" was again enable. I don't know if I need to contact P3D support for that.

Any help please

I just loaded P3Dv4.2 and checked "Message Text". It was enabled for me too BUT the QOTSII 747v3 loaded perfect ! no crash nothing....

Please try and load the 747v3 it should work even if Message Text is enabled.

I tried but the sim still Crash when I load the PMDG 747v3 first.

When I load the other PMDG's aircrafts like the 737NGX and the 777 they loaded normaly with "Message Text" enabled or disenabled.

I did a full uninstall of the PMDG 747v3 because I have an issue with the IRS (it solved) and the CTD issue. After the uninstall I reinstall and I saw in the PMDG's OC that I have an update for P3D v4.2 I run it via the OC. After that I launch the P3D v4.2 and tried if I have the CTD issue stil show. For my lucky this issue the CTD solved. I think the cause of my issue was the updater because at the first time that I install the 747 I use the installer for the update via the OC but now the installer of the update via OC looked different, Did PMDG release new installer for this issue ???

Now I can full enjoy and fly with the PMDG 747 QOTSII.

With all items in "Miscellaneous text" disables it works for me.

But unfortunately after every startup of P3D one item enables itself (Message text), if you don't disable it before a new flight you have a CTD (with B744v3).

This worked for me too but when exiting P3D it crashes with ucrtbase.dll No problem with other airecrafts FSLABS A320 PMDG 737 and 777

I can confirm same problem here. Will this be fixed somehow by PMDG as all other aircrafts seem fine...

Ok gang..tried every but 1.  Update to the latest driver (Nvidia) worked for me..I back in the 747.

Have even installed the latest nVidia driver.. no probs at all.. Not using nVidia Inspector either and keeping the P3Dcfg vanilla...

Weird mine works too but i have to uncheck message text also everytime again otherwise CTD. Now i have to load default F22 at gate first then switch to 747 but when i exit the sim the sim with crash. NVIDIA drivers are latest already. Weird but using inspector for fps and power and vsync only.

Just to say that I suddenly started to experience CTDs during initialisation after 2-3 weeks of normal function of the 747 QOTS.

I unchecked the message text boxes as advised on this thread, and the 747 loaded normally. After each boot of P3D v4, the box is checked once more, but now leaving this as is, the 747 still loads normally! Bizarre....

The plane also loaded normally after first loading the F22

I don‘t want to change the topic but there are reports about the inspector creating more issues than increasing the performance especially with p3dv4. The normal nvidia control panel is absolutely sufficient. All above for what you are using it for. 

This has likely nothing to do with this thread‘s issue and is just meant for information :)
