Removing green ATIS message from view

Hi all,

Can anybody tell me if there is a way to remove the displayed Green/White banner line with the ATIS messages in it which appears when one listens to the Tower ATIS message . What with the message in text in the ATC window and the voice I don't need the same info again across the top of my screen. In fact I don't se the need for any of these distracting one line displays except perhaps for anything from GSX.

Hello John,

Yes, Change the active radio frequency on COM1 to anything else, click the Standby button to shift it to active, the banner should stop. COM2 as well if needed.

Its not permanent though because sometimes the Weather frequency ATIS and ATC frequencies can be triggered by an airport addon or previously saved Flight when loaded.

Thanks for that I'll give it a go. I was hoping that there would be a P3DV4 config.  entry to stop such things.

Well I have not tied it but I did see in v4.2 there is now a tick box to turn off text messages. I don't know it it will turn off green text but its new to v4.2

Well it does turn off the green exit doors opening banner at least.

Thanks for the tip I hadn't noticed that text message tick box. Will give it a burl.

I'm finding I have to re-tick it after each p3d restart.
