Active Sky P3dV4 Not Working

After updating to its latest beta 6616, the weather is not working as only default weather is showing no matter where the airports are. Have tried to re-install several times but still not seeing any changes. Anyone experiences the same issue?

No problems with my install. I did complete uninstall of P3D and re-install of 4.2. Then applied the 6616 update. AS16 started right up and performed as expected.

I am seeing the exact same behavior.  Updated the client to 4.2, installed 6616 fine.  ASP4 says “connected” but there is no weather.  

I have reported this to HiFi.

Today I am going to see what it does on my system (on cliënt pc). Me too I have updated P3D Cliënt .

I did also uninstall and reinstall, afterwards updated AS. No issues.

Updated ASP4 and it is working perfectly  here ... ( only P3Dv4 client update + ASP4 update )

Just to balance this out, I just ran the beta installer for ASP4 after doing a client and content update for P3Dv4.2. No uninstalls or reinstalls necessary, it just works (and provides weather).

I have no idea, I did client and content update, and installed and reinstall ASP4 full download version + beta 6616. The weather is just the same everywhere. Already filed a ticket to Hifi but still waiting for a response.

RESOLVED :  The problem in my case was a PTA (latest, v2.61 for P3D v4.2) preset (ThoPat 2.x latest  .ini) was using a Custom cloud tweak, and thanks to GSAldens post over at the PTA forum: 

"FYI : the custom Cloud directional tweaks do not work in P3Dv4.2 ; they make the 3D clouds disappear."  That is why there was no weather (clouds) showing up in my case.  

FIX :  Modify the PTA preset and uncheck Custom cloud tweaks, and reapply the preset.  ASP4 working normal.  THANKS GSAlden for the post !  I don't know how you figured that one out but it sure solved my issue.

I think my case is different, as there are clouds all over the sky but no matter where you change the airports, the clouds are all the same. It is like no weather program injected into the sim.

Those with non-working AS16, did you install as Admin? Did you get the box asking to install it's own simconnect? It wont function properly without it.
