Gerard's All months preset set : P3D v4.x

Recommended Posts

I do not use very high brightness settings on the displays to avoid leaking edges with night scenery...

My cockpit rebuild is almost ready. So at last this sunday I will post a new DL link..

I see, so my understanding is your latest February-March file needs to be redone? It seems ok when I loaded it in 2.64, I had some weird tiling issues with water but other than it everything looked ok...

Hello Gerard,

Which preset should be used now? Since only march is up for p3d v4.4.

Regards,
Rob

Hi Rob,

It might take up to 2 weeks before april/may will be released as Nightlighting has changed.

So you can try March with the Water Surface Tweak enabled, but the Urban Nightlighting unchecked.

At the bottom of the PTA preset you can adjust the tone of the scene.

Did you check hour graphics driver color settings ? Your screenshot is very dark and very blue.

With 2.66 and your settings I am experiencing very similar bluish rather very blue issue. On PTA presets it is unchecked, but how low or what would be best adjustments for all three colors? I dropped blue to .55.....Any advice

Uncheck Raleigh Scattering that also causes a blue haze effect.

But it is there in reality :
