Made few changes here and there to my liking, however, clouds are very dark...to be precise, clouds further are very dark, around airplane ie 10-15 miles are really nice and ok. Any "remedy" for that?

Thanks

If I try to open the April PTA preset, my winrar fails with an error, I can not open the archive ("unknown file format"). What can I do about this?

@GSalden It worked, I used an old winrar version, that is why. And you were right, thanks to your preset, EDDF now looks perfect in the night. Thanks!

@GSalden Gerard, I know you have better things to do, but as you preset basically turnes my bright airport sceneries like EDDF into a dark appearance how it should be in the night, I wonder which of your settings are responsible for this. As I use the preset from AdamNZ that suits my screen better, I was hoping that you could share this info allowing me to modify Adams preset as such that the airports are equally dark during night time.

@GSalden Hi Gerard! I've been using your all months preset for quite a while now and love them! I'm on P3Dv4.5 now and after the water tuning and other PTA turmoil, I am unsure if all of the months are now fully compatible and working or just the Apr v16 preset?

Thanks!

Bruce

Edit: NEVER MIND... I should have read the post right above this first, sorry.

Hi Bruce,

As LM now releases new updated at least 2-3 times per year I have choosen to take last months preset and modify it to a new month with the P3D version that exists at that moment.

Take a look at the inproved water at ground level , medium altitude and high altitude at 10.00h or around 17.00h

The colors , reflection, refraction etc. changes at time of day , weather and altitude.

Here I am using Prosim so mo VC. Therefore I cannot test a VC.

You have to edit the VC Lighting values.

Hi Gerard.

I have tried May preset, looks really nice with EF. Few questions.737 NG VC lights at night looks too orange. What do I need to change to make VC lights just a bit more white? Also VC at night is super dark. Can I make it a bit brighter?

Thanks

skysurfer, Gerard help me with the pointing to VC Lightning, so open PTA Tool and after load his last preset, find on the left column "Aircraft VC lightning & saturation" and play with it. that's helped me.
