skysurfer, Gerard help me with the pointing to VC Lightning, so open PTA Tool and after load his last preset, find on the left column "Aircraft VC lightning & saturation" and play with it. that's helped me.

OK, I will give it a try. Thanks for the heads up

One thing more u can try, for expl, in the PMDG 747 simulation page 7 play with the HDR adjustment level, set it to no or low.

I don't have 747. I have 737 and 777. I am trying to figure out what parameter in VC I need to change in order to change color in VC.. So far it is not going well. As soon as I try to change at least one value in VC by a small number clouds look white at night, and orange at day time.

Hi Gerard! I'm using your all months April v16 here. In the past week or so I've been in and out of REX EF several times. Everytime I install / uninstall I start by loading P3D default shaders and clearing the cache. Then I reinstall your preset.

My question is the bright green trees for example on the island to the right. You may need to zoom in sorry... This is with EF UNinstalled.

I don't remember them looking that way before. BTW, I also use ORBX HD Trees and this is the Flightbeam KPDX airport.

1. Do they look OK to you?

2. What setting would I adjust to get more depth of shading in those trees?

BTW, I would be using May but I haven't gotten around to adjusting the VC and Apr has seemed great to me.

Thanks.

Bruce

The Orbx default and HD trees here look also brighter.

But if I enter a FranceVFR region those trees look much darker.

You could try changing the values for Object Lighting but then all objects will become darker.

That you should ask at the REX forum.

But I guess, you make sure that you have default Shaders installed, Then you install EF.

Then you apply your favorite PTA preset. Put SF in manual mode and use the sliders to finetune to your liking.

My preset uses expressions so it is Dynamic already. Therefore do not use EF Automated mode.

You will have to ask the REC team for that...

Hi Gerard,

Thanks your help.
