WX radar is working here Rob. (dated 7 dec 2017)

Oh great news, hadn't tried it since all prior versions of REX/Milviz WX Radar were tied to specific P3D versions, I guess they no longer need to tie to a specific version ... good news indeed.

Cheers, Rob.

You should be in business.

Cheers

PPO,

I just updated to P3DV4.2 and during my first flight, it crashed...looking at the event viewer, it was due to WX radar. I just bought this a few weeks ago, so I believe I have the latest.

Is there a newer version now?

The latest version is dated dec 7 2017. That is the one that works with 4.1 and 4.2. Tested here anyway.

You should have in your C:\Wx Advantage radar all the modules necessary for your flight sim setup. For example for P3Dv4.1 or 4.2 you have under folder "files" a folder named P3D4 which includes the file mv_wx.dll dated dec 7 2017.

The same goes for the folder "modules" under folder name P3Dv4: mv_wxm.dll also dated dec 7 2017.

You need these 2 modules to be there for it to work under P3Dv4.

Next you need to register the modules with the gauge installer .exe UNLESS the integration is taken care by the a/c developer: Milviz, Flysimware..

Cheers,

Pierre

Thanks Pierre,

Yep, those are same dates I  have. It worked fine in P3DV4.1, but crashed in my first flight in P3DV4.2.

I then redid the same flight, but did not turn 'on' with Wx Radar...no crashes this time.

I did post in the REX forums as the installation information specifically says 4.1 (and of course, the previous versions like 3.4, etc.).

Anyway, I appreciate your help.

Take care,

Jeff

Started a new post concerning the WX Radar as I thought it was more appropriate.
