February 17, 20188 yr Hi, I noticed that the pictures on the product page of the 32 bit version are apparently from P3Dv4 as well. As FSX has no dynamic lights or RealLight, I was wondering how the cockpit night lighting looks? Also does the FSX version have Lotus-style exterior light effects (i.e. lights that truly illuminate the ground)? Greetings Tim My files on Flightsim.to i5 12600K | 32Gb | RTX 4080
February 17, 20188 yr Commercial Member The effect is the same with cockpit lights, but you loose the dimming, so lights are only on/off. The external light effect probably do not illuminate the ground afaik, but let me ask our chief programmer before. Let you know
February 18, 20188 yr Other add-ons have the ground-lighting effect in FSX. PMDG aircraft do, so no reason the Maddog shouldn't. - Chris Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | Intel Core i9 13900KF | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB | 64GB DDR5 SDRAM | Corsair H100i Elite 240mm Liquid Cooling | 1TB & 2TB Samsung Gen 4 SSD | 1000 Watt Gold PSU | Windows 11 Pro | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Thrustmaster TCA Captain X Airbus | Asus ROG 38" 4k IPS Monitor (PG38UQ) Asus Maximus VII Hero motherboard | Intel i7 4790k CPU | MSI GTX 970 4 GB video card | Corsair DDR3 2133 32GB SDRAM | Corsair H50 water cooler | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD (2) | EVGA 1000 watt PSU - Retired
February 18, 20188 yr Author Thank you very much for the quick reply! I'm looking forward to the answer of the main developer. I too hope that the FSX Maddog X does not rely on the ugly FSX default light effects. Greetings Tim My files on Flightsim.to i5 12600K | 32Gb | RTX 4080
