Can I do a Repair Install P3dV4.2

Recommended Posts

For some reason when I went to install the Client for V4.2 I lost my scenery and content installs as well and my P3d would not launch, I don't know why it happened. I have done many of these client upgrades so it isn't because I don't know what I am doing.  So I downloaded the entire install file and reinstalled the Scenery and Content and P3dv4.2 opened up. Today I was looking at my P3d files in Programs and Features and noticed I do not have an Academic Client unistall file.

Can I do a REPAIR install to get this back with out missing up my whole program.

Thanks

Randy S

Hello Randy

To have a complete Prepar3D v3 or v4 Install you only need the Prepar3D Client, Content and Scenery present in the Control panel.

The Prepar3D Academic \ Professional entry is the Base Installer that Installs all 3 components together as one,  You will have this entry when you Install Prepar3D by running the Setup_Prepar3D.exe

If you Install Prepar3D by running the 3 components Individually you will not have this entry in the Control panel

So can I do a repair install.

Also why are some of us having issues with the loss of views with the number key.
