PFPX MD82 Route Export

Recommended Posts

With Regards to PFPX, it's a bit of an old post but we should understand that personal issues are ongoing and hopefully will be resolved.

I personally think PFPX is the best flight planning software and I hope they will be able to resume the development asap

The "support" of PFPX was also very bad before this new situation. TOPCAT support was a desaster till they have finally stopped the complete development for it.

But yes, PFPX is still the best software for planning, but I would not hold may breath that we see any development soon.

I see that PFPX has some FMS route formats (Leonardo SH MD82 2008/2010 P3D) available.  Do these work for import into the FMS or is some other format required?

Thanks!

I chose the one 2008/2010(P3D) and remember to browse  and save it to  C:\Users\ xxx \Documents\Maddog X Files\Routes.

In this way, you can choose it in the FMS.

You might soon realize it doesn't work. Most of the routes are truncated/incomplete.

Oh!! Because I have just started testing the plane, so far I have just tried one route and it was OK..

So have you found the resolution? Thanks!

Hello everyone, I do not speak English well, but I think you will understand my explanation. It is true that PFPX does not correct its program and it has been observed since the CRJ 700 then produced by AEROSOFT. Nevertheless the most practical solution is to use SIMBRIEF, which one can possibly, for the unconditional ones of PFPX, to modify with the route provided by the latter, which adds the sid and the star. Everything works perfectly. cordially

I still use PFPX... I just create the plan and input the info myself! Print, or switch screens or even easier take a photo with my cel phone and use it to create the plan in the fmc... Done! no truncated plan.
