He was shot in the head but released after a couple of hours--so he was either grazed or the glass of the Cessna slowed velocity enough that it saved his life. So that's OK in my book :)

I thought it was his head that was hit. :(Glad he was okay no matter WHICH end he was hit in. :)

------------------------------------------------------------------------Now that is crazy, something to keep in mind during hunting season.------------------------------------------------------------------------You know...I have heard the odd story about helicopter being shot at by irate hunters when the deer got spooked. The most vulnerable appear to be the copters who do those power-line inspection flights where theyre in the hover for extended periods.I wouldnt say it was true...I've never verified them...but I sure wouldnt brush it off! Theres some mad people out there!
