FSX-MS iFly Livery Help

HI,

Hope someone can help. I have downloaded 737NG 800 liveries from the iFly site to load into FSX, unzipped the file and placed each Texture file into my FSX>Sim Object>Airplane>iFly 737-800 folder. Then on to the IFly Configuration Tool, select the 737 800 aircraft and My Fleet then click "New" to add a new livery. When I click on the Texture box I expected to be able to scroll to the new livery to install it (as shown on You Tube) but all can see is two options "Texture CLWT" and "Texture iFly" The new livery (FedEX for example) isn't there to select.

Can anyone point out what I'd doing wrong please.

Did you add the texture.cfg to the new FEDEX texture folder?

Thanks for your reply.

I just put the Fedex texture file (from the extracted files) into the 737-800 folder.

It seems I've clearly missed a step along the way; can you please help point me in the direction of which texture.cfg file I need to add to the Fedex file as I think I've seen more one texture.cfg file.

Really appreciate your help and perhaps I should think about renaming myself 'Muppet'

Most important, don't forget to choose the right variant in the drop down box. The first model listed is the 737-600, whereas you may have installed your repaint for the 737-800. If you don't choose the correct model, you'll only see the paints listed for the 737-600. I've been guilty of this once or twice in the past

Glad you got it worked out. I don't know if you're new to the ifly 737 but if you are you're going to love it.
