No Map showing up in 2.4.0.6

Recommended Posts

Dave,

I had 2.4.0.5 with navigraph install.  I have the latest navigraph 1802 airac installed (not sure if that matters here).  I just ran the update installer (not the full installer) to upgrade to 2.4.0.6.  When the app launches now, i have no map.  Nothing i do shows the map.  screen shot below.  the logs are clean, but I pasted in the log from the startup anyway for you.

2.4.0.6_x64
Navigraph 1802

I didn't get the map either, but when I clicked on the map mode it came up. Then while going through the different modes it disappeared. I got it back by using the Search ICAO button next to the Map Mode button.

Also, I get a perpetual hourglass when trying to load approaches for KROC, KIUA, and 9G0. Going back to 2.4.0.5_x64 :)

Update:

I found and fixed the missing map issue and I found a bug that may have caused the unending spinner when trying to load approaches.  Seems to work OK.

Mihalich: that warning message is always in the log and is not an error that affects anything.  If you could send me a screenshot of the entire P2A window when SayIt is blank I might can figure out what the problem is.  Send to admin@pilot2atc.com or if you know how to publish in the forum, that would work also.

Thanks,

Dave

ok.  Not sure if the blank say it windows were a side effect of the missing map.  If it still happens after I install the map fix, i'll send you info in email.

Huh, now that i changed map modes, everything shows up.  I left it in satellite mode, and exited and started it up again, and now it shows up.  Weird...

Also, the 'say it' thing is a non issue.  I thought the controls always populated at app startup.  Once i switched to clearance/delivery on the radio the controls populated.
